How it works
- Key vs Fill - click the brightest lit side, then the shadow side. Ratio in stops shows how contrasty your lighting is. 1:1 = flat, 4:1 = standard portrait, 8:1+ = high contrast.
- Contrast - click+drag a region to measure min/max luma and the stop range it covers. Useful for checking dynamic range usage.
- Zone overlay - applies Ansel Adams 0-X zones (11 brightness bands) to the whole image. Zone V is middle gray.
Calibration is relative to the camera profile selected at the top of the tool.
